Industrial X-ray inspection technology use Directional X-ray digital radiography on ultra high voltage
electrical substation GIS(Geographic Information System) power transmission and transformation, records the degrees of radiation absorption by different parts, and quickly generates images similar to medical X-rays, helping maintenance personnel to quickly and accurately analyze and evaluate the operating status of the equipment.

At the operation site, maintenance personnel first install the Portable X-ray flaw detector at the ultra high voltage GIS equipment and place an imaging X-ray detector beside the testing object. After ensuring that the Portable X-ray flaw detector's emission port is opposite to the imaging board, they adjust parameters such as voltage, current, and exposure time. Once all personnel have evacuated outside the warning zone, the X-ray flaw detector is activated to start the detection.
X-rays penetrate the surface of the tank of the GIS equipment and are transformed into visual images through X-ray inspection computer information processing and image reconstruction. By analyzing the industrial X-ray 2D perspective view, it can accurately detect whether each connection point inside the ultra high voltage GIS equipment is intact, whether the crimping is tight, and whether there are any hidden defects such as cracks at the crimping points.
