Pressure vessels have higher safety requirements, whether from design, manufacturing, use, or maintenance.
As a simple, efficient, and non-destructive testing method, X-ray nondestructive testing is used to inspect welded joints in pressure vessel heads, cylinders, and shells. It is the main testing method before pressure vessels are put into service or during their use.
For pressure vessels with different materials, thicknesses, sizes, manufacturing processes, usage environments, and application fields, single-wall penetration inspection methods using X-ray sources, single-wall penetration inspection methods with X-ray sources outside, or double-wall penetration inspection methods are used to perform digital imaging or film radiography (radiography) on pressure vessel ring welds and longitudinal welds, etc. This process ensures that the quality of pressure vessels manufactured and put into service is traceable, stable, reliable, and durable.
